Joomla Templates

Joomla Templates is basically the “shell” of your website. They are composed of various files that define the appearance of a web page when your content modules and templates have been installed. A template refers to aspects such as colors, fonts, menu styles, links, basic styling, and certain graphics like the header and the footer (sometimes). Follow the instructions and add any modules that are needed for your website.

Once you have added a new module, you may see a box that says Create Template. Click on this box to select a template and save it to your hard drive. This will bring up a wizard that asks you for some basic information about the file. After you have provided all the information requested, you will be able to see the new options on the wizard.

These options include the name of the template, whether you want to change the default colors, and if you want to change any other settings or attributes. The wizard will ask you to enter the new settings that you want to use and will ask you if you want to add any more modules or add your own.

Once you have completed the wizard, you can now click on Save New Settings and you will be ready to go! You will see all new options available to you for your website. You can now change any information that you wish to make your website look unique and customized. Joomla Templates can be edited or modified by clicking the edit link on the right side of the screen. This will open up your template with the new settings that you have modified.

Customizing your website does not have to be hard! By creating a new template, you can give your website a unique look by choosing a theme or color scheme. and have it ready to be used for you to use today!
