Joomla Maintenance is very important to maintain the functionality of the Joomla themes so you can build the most effective website possible. It regularly fixes several technical issues on your Joomla sites and fixes several minor technical bugs on your website as well.
Joomla Maintenance is a highly advanced software which not only helps in maintaining your Joomla websites, it also helps you in making your website more attractive and user friendly. The Joomla Maintenance Service will give your Joomla site a comprehensive makeover by fixing any number of minor bugs and providing you with a smooth website. A properly maintained Joomla site is faster to build and offers a much smoother user experience for its users.
If you are new to Joomla and want to know how to use the software properly, there are a number of tips to help you get started with Joomla Maintenance. The first thing you need to do is ensure that all the necessary files have been installed on your computer. If you have not already done so, you will need to download the Joomlas Maintenance software from the Joomlas website. You should then follow the instructions provided on the Joomlas Maintenance website carefully.
When the files have been downloaded, you will need to install them on your computer. This should be done as you do not want to end up installing a number of different tools which you will later regret if the wrong ones are installed. The files are installed into a subdirectory called ‘install’. This directory contains a number of scripts which are used to update the software on your computer.
You should then run Internet Explorer and navigate to the website which offers the Joomlas Maintenance software. You will then need to select the software menu which appears on the right hand side of the Internet Explorer window. In this menu, you will need to select the option known as the “Settings” option. Click on the “Settings” button and you will find all the required Joomlas Maintenance settings listed on the screen.
You need to make sure that you click on the “OK” button in the box. This will then open the control panel of Internet Explorer and allow you to change a number of settings. Most of these settings can be found in the “Appearance” section of the Internet Explorer control panel. You will find a number of options available here which will allow you to customise the appearance of your Joomla websites.
You will also need to change the “Add / Remove Programs” option from the Control Panel. This is used to remove any of the unwanted Joomlas Maintenance software that you may have installed onto your computer. If you have any security related Joomlas Maintenance program installed on your computer, you need to uninstall it from the Control Panel before you can then install the new one.
You will need to go back to the main Internet Explorer page and select the “Advanced” tab to make changes to the “Site Settings” section. These include changing the URL link and the title of the site if you want to add a new link to your site or change the site’s theme. Once you have made the changes, you can then save all these changes and then reload the settings to allow your site to appear on the Internet Explorer page.
If you have the Joomla Maintenance software installed on your computer, you will then need to click on the “Add / Remove Programs” option and change the installation folder from “Joomla Maintenance” to another name. This should then allow the software to be able to be uninstalled by clicking on the “Remove” button found next to the software name in the Control Panel.
An even more important step in the process is to remove any temporary Internet cookies which may be installed onto your system. These cookies will prevent Joomla Maintenance from being able to load the web pages and the website will need to be reloaded.
When you are finished with the installation of the software, you should then be able to see your newly installed site in the newly created ‘Site Settings’ section. It is important to note that you should not save your newly created ‘Site Settings’ folder onto your desktop because this will cause your Joomla maintenance software to run on the default settings for this folder. Instead, you should close the site and restart your computer in order to ensure that the site loads properly.
