Joomla 4 Changes the World

The Joomla framework is one of the most advanced web development tools in existence today. It has evolved from the original Joomla version known as OpenOffice.org in 2020. Joomla has gone a long way, with all major components of the site coming along with it.

So if you are using an OpenOffice.org version of the Joomla web application, you can’t just switch to Joomla because this is no longer supported by the OpenOffice developers. The good news is that Joomla 4 is available for download, you simply need to install it and all the problems will be solved. It may not be the cheapest thing to do, but this is a true testament to the power of the Joomla framework.

A lot of information is currently being considered by those who wish to move to Joomla but don’t know what to do. This article can help you if you have any concerns or queries you have about the new upgrade.

As I mentioned earlier, Joomla 4 is an entirely new framework. There are only three main components of the platform that are used currently. Joomla, Joomla Content Management System (CMS) and Joomla WYSIWYG editor (website builder). The only remaining original component is the technology Joomla SEO.

Some users don’t believe in the new components, but it is important to mention the technology behind it. When Joomla was first released, it included PHP as its main language. Nowadays, it is very rare to find PHP as the main language used, and more likely ASP, Visual Basic or Java. With Joomla 4, it is not possible to write PHP applications anymore, so the language has been replaced by the OGC format which is just an XML syntax.

The new HTML now in use is the XHTML, another standard format. The XML specification was developed by the W3C. As you can see, there is a lot to take into account when you are moving to Joomla 4.

There are a lot of differences between Joomla 3 and Joomla 4. The code, especially the JavaScript which is used for Ajax is different. There are also some things that have changed regarding the CMS, which is the content management system which handles web content.

Joomla 4 has a lot of new features including the ability to add images, audio and video within the content. On top of that, the system is updated to the latest version of the open source CMS XSLT.

All these elements add up to a completely new platform, which is Joomla 4. It’s not a large upgrade, but it is certainly a big upgrade compared to the old Joomla. And while this doesn’t mean that it is entirely easy to run, it is still faster and more stable than the earlier version.

The end result is that you can now create high quality websites without having to worry about having too many servers, operating systems or versions of the software that you are using. You can easily add more content, and there are features that make it possible to make your website visually appealing without having to worry about the number of frames per second that your computer can handle.

There are actually a number of vendors that offer free trials of Joomla 4. It’s a great opportunity to explore the platform for yourself before you decide if it is for you.
